it doesnt cost animal control cause we had to call it once cause a huskey kept killin my chickensDoes it cost you for animal control to come over and..?
They won't come out unless you have the animal contained in an area.

I've called them about a possum that was stuck on the top level of a parking structure downtown. They did come out for that one since the possum wasn't going to be moving during the day. They released him in one of the parks.

Frankly an iguana can't hurt you. You go over and pick them up with one hand under their chest and one under the tummy in front of the back legs. Don't squeeze, they have fragile ribs.

If you phone any pet store that deals with reptiles, they may even have someone there who can come and get it for you.
Just go out and offer him some lettuce and then pick him up gently .and take him away somewhere else...you dont need animal control for an iguana even if its a large one...and no..they shouldnt charge you if its a dangerous animal that happened into your space. But an iguana does not qualify as a dangerous ceature I dont think..jjust watch the tail and claws
I don't think animal control will charge you if it's a wild iguana but if it's your pet then that's a problem. Also, I don't think they're actually dangerous. So, maybe you don't need to be freaked out by it.
iguanas have extremely sharp claws and teeth...if its wild please don't do it yourself! if its your pet, offer it some lettuce or something...pick it up gently, and do what you need to do with it.
Not really only when its HUGE
sometimes.
