GUYS- Do you think its fair to split cost of birth control pills?

In a situation similar to mine?:

Me and boyfriend together 7 years

One ';unexpected'; child (who we love more then anything!)

Boyfriend not working- on unemployment- financial situation for us is tough

I'm working full time, have insurance, and my co-pay for birth control is $25. I ask boyfriend for $12 because #1, we can't afford another kid, so in the long run, i am saving us alot of money by being on birth control.

I have to hassle boyfriend each month for his half- would you other guys feel the same way? or glad that girlfriend is even on birth control so $12 a month is no big deal?

i call it responsible ';family planning'; and since we are a family I feel cost should be shared!

o yea- before anybody mentions the fact that he is not working - look- he is not one of the tragedies of the economy- he got fired for being on craigslist- so i told him the only way I would let him be on unemployment is if he can KEEP UP HIS HALF of all bills-because its not fair for me to pay 100% of bills becuz he got fired. so far- he has been able too which is great plus we save on childcare since he is there for babyGUYS- Do you think its fair to split cost of birth control pills?
I'm a guy, but I have to take your side on this, YES, it is fair, plain and simple.GUYS- Do you think its fair to split cost of birth control pills?
if this is something that yall agreed on than it is fine. however i know that birth control is expensive and most girls would want their significant others to pay half the cost of their birth control but most of them do not.
He absolutely should pay half. Tell him he has to use condoms (and pay for them himself) otherwise. That should do it.
