Will a Palin surge cost the Dems control of congress and then Roe V. Wade?

A number of folks have said they expect the Senate---which up until this point has looked like it would be a 55-60 Dem to 40-45 Rep --- to prevent any overly conservative judges with a desire to take down Roe v. Wade to be appointed to the supreme court.

';Republicans, who are now much more enthused about the 2008 election than they were prior to the convention, show heightened interest in voting, and thus outscore Democrats in apparent likelihood to vote in November. As a result, Republican candidates now lead Democratic candidates among likely voters by 5 percentage points, 50% to 45%. If these numbers are sustained through Election Day -- a big if -- Republicans could be expected to regain control of the U.S. House of Representatives.';

That certainly doesn't bode well in the senate where Joe Lieberman of all people gives the Dems a 51-50 edge.Will a Palin surge cost the Dems control of congress and then Roe V. Wade?
UnlikelyWill a Palin surge cost the Dems control of congress and then Roe V. Wade?
Why is ROE such an important issue to you-- this should be a STATE by STATE issue--

Our most important national problems right now are:

The Energy Crisis

Immigration

National Defense

The Economy

The Democrats have been in control for almost 2 years now. I don't see them doing anything about the above National issues.
What a wonderful day that will be.
