How much should a Front End Alignment, a Tie Rod, and a Control Arm cost to fix?

Okay, I hit a curb driving in the snow doing like 5 10 10 mph. (I hit the front passenger) The whole way home it was making a clunking sort of noise. The next day I went to drive my car and it was pulling the left really bad. I took it to be looked at and they said it would be $600 to fix. They told me I need to replace the control arm, tie rod, the wheel and I need an alignment. Do you think that is a reasonable price (that is including labor)? How much should a Front End Alignment, a Tie Rod, and a Control Arm cost to fix?
what is the make and model of this that makes a differenceHow much should a Front End Alignment, a Tie Rod, and a Control Arm cost to fix?
I would make sure they check other items such as the wheel that hit the curb, the framework where the suspension mounts to the car body and any other components that may have been damaged. As far as the price quoted...it is about average.
first of all we need to know what car it is! because car parts vary and no it dosnt sound like a reasonable price because if you were going 5 to 10 mph and there was snow there is no way that it can do that much damage! your allignment should be like 20$ ! the control arm like i said depends on what kind of car it is! tie rod should be around 80$ (depending on maker of the vehicle) and the wheel should be like 40$ (for one really good one for snow) so it shouldnt cost you that much take it to a new mechanic!
unfortunately yes, that does sound reasonable, definitely get a second opinion.

A tie rod and control arm for my car costs about $300US, then add the front end alignment and labor, yeah $600 does seem about right. Dang!

Good luck and hope you didn't also warp your rim!
Tie rod replacement alone goes for about $300 a piece (labor included). Sounds like $600 is reasonable.
Yeah, depending on where you are at (prices vary), you may be able to get a lower quote, but for tie-rod, control arm, wheel and alignment - I would say that is about right. Labor for that stuff can be a little over the top - But, you better get it done because if your tie rod breaks - OUCH! Car will be undrivable.
