How much should a Transmission Control Module Cost?

We have a 2004 Suzuki XL7, and we've had it to the dealer for warranty repair 5 times recently. Everything was under warranty except now the real problem is the TCM. Before we give the go ahead, we want to know what it usually runs to have one replaced. We were told by the dealer its a manufactor only part, and it runs $1100 for the part. that is very pricy try a pull a part or some salvage yards in your area that price is high but they are the only ones who have it so what to do if you cant find one used if you had five warranty claims for same problem they should at least help with price on module but most likely wont being 2004 should be able to locate used one unless this is rare car not many made good luckHow much should a Transmission Control Module Cost?
